Jar Asian Hornet trap (workers and Queen trap), works with any jar lid size 73mm

This hornet trap is designed to fit into any ordinary empty jam jar, this will fit a jam jar with a lid diameter of around 73mm, and will catch worker Asian hornets during the summer, and then Queen hornets towards the end of the year, this way you can easily catch and monitor hornet activity through the year. This is designed for ease, by allowing you to use any normal empty jam jar.

How to use:

1. Replace the jar lid with the hornet trap lid, insert the trap with cone facing inwards
2. Use the Yellow cap From winter up to September to catch Worker hornets as this is when they are mainly active
3. Use just the white trap (Remove the yellow cap) from September to October, as this is when the Queens are active
4. You can use the Yellow cap all year round if you like, as this will catch worker hornets all year round, but it will not allow queen hornets in towards the end of the year, for best results see above.
