Round Asian Hornet trap spare caps 5 of Yellow

These are 5 of spare caps for our round hornet traps, if you have purchased a round hornet trap for bottles or the hole drill then these are replacement caps...

How to use:

1. Cut the end off any plastic bottle either a 100 or 75mm bottle, insert the trap with cone facing inwards, make 6 holes in the bottle lip, make sure the holes line up with the holes on the trap lip, then use wire, cable or string to hold the trap in place. (Alternatively you could use tape)
2. Use the Yellow cap From winter up to September to catch Worker hornets as this is when they are mainly active
3. Use just the white trap (Remove the yellow cap) from September to October, as this is when the Queens are active
4. You can use the Yellow cap all year round if you like, as this will catch worker hornets all year round, but it will not allow queen hornets in towards the end of the year, for best results see above.
