Round Asian Hornet trap (workers and Queen trap), works with Hole Saw Drill bit

This hornet trap is designed to fit into a box, and will catch worker Asian hornets during the summer, and then Queen hornets towards the end of the year, this way you can easily catch and monitor hornet activity through the year. This is designed for ease, by allowing you to use a normal 102mm sized hole saw drill bit to cut a hole and insert the trap cone.

Please note if you catch an Asian Hornet in the UK you must notify the: Asian Hornet Watch 

How to use:

• Cut a 102 mm hole into any type of box using a normal 102mm hole saw bit, hole size: 102mm diameter, insert the trap with cone facing inwards, use 3.5mm screws, bolts or glue to hold trap in place
• Use the Yellow cap From winter up to September to catch Worker hornets as this is when they are mainly active
• Use just the white trap (Remove the yellow cap) from September to October, as this is when the Queens are active
• You can use the Yellow cap all year round if you like, as this will catch worker hornets all year round, but it will not allow queen hornets in towards the end of the year, for best results see above.

Dimensions: 118mm Diameter and 110mm Deep (from bottom to top of cone), hole sizes for screws are 3mm
